A Decade of Housewives

With the coming of 2020 and the ending of a decade, I’ve seen many Bravo countdowns on Twitter, and I wanted to join in on the fun! I saw one account list its Top 25 Housewives, and Bravo even asked viewers to post their favorite moment from the past ten years. I decided to do something just a bit different; while thinking back on all of the unforgettable moments the Real Housewives have given us, I started wondering what were the most earth shattering, unbelievable, and unforgivable? What were the story lines that were so incredulous and out there, you just had to keep watching to see how everything would play out? Instead of a “favorites” list, I decided to discuss the biggest scandals that rocked the Housewives, not just in the past decade, but ever!!!

Orange County: Brooks fakes cancer

“I was connnnnnnnned!”

There have been lies and rumors flying around the OC for 14 seasons now: Did Gretchen cheat on her dying fiance? Is Eddie gay? Did Kelly do a train? But the biggest deception to come from the citrus franchise has to be Brooks pretending to have cancer. If you recall, he started dating Vicki, manipulated her relationships with her family & friends (remember the awful things he said about Vicki’s daughter?), got Vicki to pay for his new teeth … and just when everyone started to turn against them, he played the cancer card to gain back sympathy.

Not only did the psychic say it, but between Queen MKE’s investigating and a Brooks in the Clubhouse sit down with Andy, everything came out in the end. To lie about something that takes loved ones away from their families is absolutely disgusting; I can’t even say how I feel about Brooks because there are no words, so let’s move on.

Atlanta: Kandi drugs Porsha

Okay no, Kandi did not drug Porsha and I never for a moment thought so. But Ms. Phaedra Parks put the crazy idea into Porsha’s head: that Kandi wanted to drug Porsha to then, well, um, how do I say this, “do things” with P. What the actual F was Phaedra thinking?! AND whhhhy would Porsha believe her? Well, I guess they were BFFs at the time … (gah that seems like forever ago!).

Not only did it cancel their friendship, it pretty much got Phaedra kicked off the show (that was never proven, but true fans know). Poor Kandi, it could have ruined her businesses, her reputation, gosh, even got her in trouble with the law!

The Atlanta ladies fight dirty (Porsha & Kenya anyone??), but this had to be one of the most disturbing lies played out in ATL.

Dallas: LeeAnne’s racist comments

This is ongoing; I just finished part 1 of the Dallas reunion and sheesh, LeeAnne has some major explaining to doooooo. I won’t repeat the awful things LeeAnne said about Kary Brittingham, not just once, not just twice, but at least three different times.

For all the abuse LeeAnne suffered as a child, and for all the advocacy she does in her adult life, I was truly shocked to hear the things she said, AND see her continued treatment of Kary on the reunion (and lack of a sincere apology on social media). Since the part of the reunion that covered these topics hasn’t aired yet, we’re unsure how/if Bravo will continue with LeeAnne, but I really do believe her comments this season will end her run on the show.

New Jersey: Teresa & Joe go to jail

Table flipping, Danielle’s past, Melissa stripping (?!) … there have been many unforgettable moments in Jersey. I mean, who can forget the POSCHE fashion show?

Which year?

Not to mention all the seasons we watched Teresa fight with her family. (“Stop hurting us!”) But, Jersey will always be remembered for its biggest star and her husband going to prison for fraud. In real time, Joe has been deported; he lives in Italy and will never be able to return to live in the United States. I can’t believe it, mostly because of the hurt it has caused his four amazing girls (Gia for President!), but also that everything, every part of this story, aired on Bravo. I guess if you start showing your dirty laundry, you might as well just show it all, plus they obviously need(ed) the money. I hate to be the person to say it, but I’m tired of hearing about the drama between Joe and Teresa; Tre, just date the nice pool man, let Joe find a kind Italian girl … and then raise your beautiful girls in harmony, even if you’re oceans apart.

Beverly Hills: Kim is an alcoholic

“You stole my goddamn house!”

Accusations of doing cocaine, “Puppy Gate,” & surrogates have all been popular scandals that shook Beverly Hills, but I don’t think anything was harder to watch (& longer played out) than Kim Richard’s sobriety. After she sat down with Andy …

… confirming she is in fact an alcoholic, thinking back on the early seasons (and catching reruns), they’re viewed with a different lens. It’s really difficult to stomach the scenes of Kim fighting with Kyle; remember that weird boyfriend Kim had in season two, the group vacation they took where she was late to everything and fought with Mauricio, but kept calling him Maurice?

If you’re a true BH fan, you know Kim eventually got arrested for shoplifting and things didn’t seem to get better between her and Kyle for a long while. In real time, Kim is no longer on the show and truly seems happy being a grandmother. I don’t follow her on social media, but I wish her all the joy, success, and good luck for her future!

New York: It’s about Tom

I always thought the craziest thing Luann aired was the pirate scandal, remember that? Then came Tom. First it was totally nuts that she dated Jacque way longer than Tom, yet never got engaged to J, but knew Tom for a minute and was ready to marry him. Also, what about the fact that Tom was a “lover” of Sonja’s and kissed/dated Ramona too, right? Even though “committed” to Lu, Tom’s dirty ways didn’t stop.

Honestly, I don’t remember if the whole “Please don’t let it be about Tom” scandal was pre-engagement, or post-engagement but pre-wedding, regardless, it was bad. Luann stuck by her man though, which led to a horrible marriage and eventual divorce, and ultimately, the most bizarre police tape of a housewife arrest in history.

Potomac: Michael’s many missteps

None of us really care if he is or isn’t, but Michael’s inappropriate actions towards men, while married, was wrong. It’s also been a story line since season one, so obviously where there is smoke, there’s fire. The lost footage that apparently was found this last season, on top of the fact that there was an actual allegation put out there has rocked Potomac. What else has been a consistent show topic besides this, Karen’s finances? I’m very curious to see how the next season shapes up now that Michael and Ashley have a baby together. Although I did hear she’s off the show; guess we’ll see.

Well, there you have it! My list of the plot lines in Housewife history that are so ridiculous, they have to be made up! Yet, we continue to watch. The debate over viewers’ judgement (especially in the Twittersphere) on reality television stars is comical to me because if someone is going to lie or commit bad behavior, while a camera crew follows their movements, they deserve to be judged. Don’t for one second say you watch these shows to feel sympathy for the cast; we watch to be entertained by the shocking moments. If it’s too much for you, stop watching. (But don’t ever stop reading my blog!)

Weekly Television Roundup

Sit and wait, sit and wait. That’s about all I seem to do these days because it’s any time now that my baby boy could arrive (Oh [Baby] Boy!). However, I have TV to keep me company, so I thought I’d share my thoughts on everything I watched this week.

PS: If you don’t have a baby coming, and you watched all these shows this week simply for enjoyment, zero judgement from me … because baby or not, I’d be right there with you 🙂

Sunday: Real Housewives of Potomac

If you are a Housewife stan and you’re not watching Potomac, ummm what are you thinking? YOU ARE MISSING OUT! These ladies bring it each episode, but this week’s was beyoooooond as news broke that Ashley’s husband sexually assaulted a camera man. I feel bad for Ashley to have to watch this in current time since she just had a baby (last week I think?), and everything in her world should be celebrated right now, not shadowed by this scandal.

As for the other women, Gizelle was and continues to be so so messy each episode. Even though she’s my favorite, when I think of the drama the ladies have with one another, it’s usually started or prompted by Gizelle. I’m really liking Monique this season. I love her commentary and insight on all the arguments the women have because a) being pregnant, she’s the sober, silent observer & b) she tends to see every side and will tell people when they are right or wrong (cough, Candiace, cough). Robin doesn’t really do anything for me on the show, Karen is old & terrible, and Candiance is the absolute WORST. She’s immature and unreasonable, plus she needs to mind her own business and keep her opinions to herself.

Monday: The Bachelorette

It was Fantasy Suites this week for Alabama Hannah, and she had four guys to spend the night with instead of three. I was shocked, shocked I tell you, that Peter was the windmill date (“Know what? We did it a second time”), mainly just because he doesn’t really ooze sex appeal to me. However, he is my overall pick for Hannah; Peter is who I can picture her with the most.

I appreciated that Hannah felt she needed time with Tyler that didn’t revolve around intimacy, and that she didn’t want to have sex with him in the Fantasy Suite; physicality is not an issue for them. But, I don’t think it was necessary for her to make a big speech or a big deal about it at their dinner. Why couldn’t she just tell him that in the privacy of the Fantasy Suite? It was like she had to let America know she wasn’t planning on sleeping with him. Also …

Jed sucks. Girlfriend or not, he sucks. His temper tantrum about being compared to Luke was unnecessary. Speaking of unnecessary, why he told Hannah he loved her when a) he came on the show with a girlfriend, b) his family seemed surprised he brought Hannah home (for more on this see Take Back Home, Girl: Bachelorette Edition) and c) it seemed like he was using Luke as a way to leave & get back to said girlfriend. Or maybe not. Regardless of it all, Jed sucks.

But, speaking of Luke, his date was NUTS, wasn’t it? It felt like we were watching someone have a true epiphany right before our eyes, as Hannah found the light and realized how horrible Luke was/is. Not only that, I think she finally saw how easily he can manipulate (or attempt to), but also backtrack, so the person he’s talking to is never really sure what he’s trying to say (#gaslighting). Spoilers for next week’s Men Tell All claim it will basically be the reckoning of Luke, and if you still are not convinced he’s a terrible human being, go check out the Twitter he just got, and how he attacked Hannah on it.

Tuesday: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

“Do you like bon bons?”

So the first part of the Beverly Hills Reunion aired this week, and quite frankly, it was a bit all over the place. First, it started with a flashback to the Season 3 reunion, where Adrienne didn’t show up, and LVP gave her commentary on it, basically saying it was cowardly and wrong for Adrienne to not be there. HA! The hypocrisy of it all! While there was bit more on Vanderpump’s absence, the focus then shifted to Denise, her joining the show, and her life. I really like her, although I’d like to see her get a bit more feisty (which it looks like she might with Camille).

Speaking of Camille, she arrived to the reunion couch next. I think we’ll get more into the drama with her in the next two weeks (is it two or three parts?). The episode ended with the Lucy Lucy Apple Juice drama, and how Teddi got involved or was involved in it. Even though we’re all so sick of discussing this, I felt it was important to hear how Teddi was pulled in from the beginning. I had no idea it was because Dorit didn’t invite her to dinner after last year’s reunion (that was the reason right?). Regardless, Teddi’s feet were really held to the fire about how, yes, she was involved, and it was mainly Andy interrogating her. This will continue more next week I’m sure!

Wednesday: Southern Charm

Colorado, here they come! While I enjoyed watching this week’s Southern Charm, it was also a little boring at the same time. I mostly am just ready for the reunion because I want everyone held accountable for their actions this season, with footage to back it up. What am I talking about? Well I want Whitney to have to answer for hooking up with Kathryn and then blatantly denying it. I want Craig to have to answer for all his crazy outbursts. I want Austen to have to answer for cheating on Madison (did he actually have a threesome in that ridiculously repeated video?? “MADISON!!”) and where they currently stand today. Finally, I want Cameran to have to answer for all her motherhood comments. As for this week’s episode, it was fine, mostly just them traveling. I’m excited to see more of their actual trip!

Thursday: RHONY Reunion

I plan to recap the reunion in its entirety on a separate post, so you’ll just have to be a bit more patient on this one! However, part two did not disappoint!

In addition: Stranger Things & Younger

My husband and I finished binging the third season of Stranger Things this week. I won’t get too much into into because I don’t want to give away spoilers, but the ending absolutely wrecked me; I admit, I bawled my eyes out.

In my opinion, the season as a whole was the best yet. It was scarier, yet more intriguing, and the scenes between Steve, Robin, Dustin, and Erica were my favorite!

I’m also currently trying to get caught up on Younger. Anyone watch? I won’t dive too much into it either (so if you don’t watch you can skip this section), but currently I’m in the middle of season five. First off, Direct TV and TV Land need to figure their shiz out because I can’t pull up the episodes on Demand, so I have to watch on my leeetle phone screen (#firstworldproblems). Liza needs to figure some things out as well. While I was always rooting for her and Charles, now that he knows her secret, he’s being a little butthead about it, so I just want Liza to quit Emperical, marry Josh, give him the baby he wants, plus deserves, and just live her best life with him! Also, Hillary Duff is the true queen of this show and the main reason I watch!

Rose & Thorn: RHOA Reunion

First, let me apologize that this is coming so late in the week when the final part of the reunion was last Sunday. But you know what else airs on Sundays? Game of Freaking Thrones, so that’s been consuming the blog lately! You can catch up if you need to …

However, we are here to discuss the ladies of Atlanta and mainly the Season 11 reunion. I first thought I’d recap it (but you all watched). Then I thought I’d just share some overall thoughts (but my thoughts were a jumbled mess). Instead I decided to give my rose and thorn of this reunion; I’m curious to see if you all agree!

Reunion Rose: Porsha Williams

First, she was best dressed! Her baby bump brought the entire look together, but those earrings and her hair?? Flaw- less! Two, RHOA has officially become Porsha’s show. If you disagree, how? Take out this season entirely (because she’s a new person this season), and in the past it’s always been Porsha to bring the funny and the fighting.

While the Kenya hair pull is iconic, she’s no longer that woman. This season Porsha was nothing, if not the voice of reason, especially at the reunion. Maybe it was impending motherhood? Maybe it was her sobriety? Maybe it’s her new man and the fact that she’s now truly happy? Whatever it is, I thought she was on the right side of every single argument. I loved how she squashed her beef with Kandi and also stood up to Nene, but did so in a very mature way. “That shit was hurtful,” she said regarding how the women were really trying to be there for Nene this season, yet Nene completely wrote them off as friends.

I’m telling you, Porsha is going to be soon become to face of the Atlanta Housewives!

Reunion Thorn: Nene Leakes

I’m going to try very hard to not turn this into one big rant against Nene, but it’s going to be tough.

“Kandi’s not important”

And something else about how hard some women have to work to keep their peaches. At this point, Nene has reached OG crazy level where she thinks the entire show 100% revolves around her and wouldn’t be able to continue without her. LVP has shown this attitude for years, by never apologizing or never admitting when she’s wrong. Vicki proves this each season when she’s terrible to the new girls and always refers to RHOC as “her show.” Teresa was over the top about it on the last Jersey reunion, completely shunning Melissa for not taking her side and stating that any woman no longer on the show was because of her, meaning Teresa had a say in their departures.

Being an original cast member does not maketh the entire show ladies. Nene had SUCH a smug look on her face the whole reunion that at one point even Andy asked her, “What’s wrong?” in an extremely fed up tone.

I get she’s under an unimaginable amount of pressure because of her husband’s cancer, plus she feels very betrayed by her close friends (or friend* … Cynthia), buuuuut none of that gives her the right to think she’s better than anyone else on the show or to sit smugly on the couch for the entire three part, all day, reunion.

Closing Thoughts …

If you think I chose these two ladies as my rose and thorn because they got the seats next to Andy, you’re wrong. But, obviously I’m completely in tune with Bravo.

I was very proud of Cynthia for standing her ground against Nene because she rarely does stand up for herself. It was so dumb that the last five minutes of the entire season was a majority of the basis for the reunion, but whateverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. In fact, out in the Twittersville, rumor is Kenya is going to come back, which means Cynthia has an ally now going into next season and going up against Nene. #TeamKenthia all the way!

And finally, the shady boot definitely needs to go to Mr. Andy Cohen. I wish I would have written down some of the questions he asked as I watched, but it seemed like if one housewife was discussing an issue with another housewife, he immediately went to that person to get their thoughts, but he always worded it to sound … not the most genuine! Buuuut, according to him …

… and he gets better and better at it each reunion!

New Jersey Reunion: Round 1

Teresa

I was suuuuuper shocked that the first question right out of the gate was to Tre about Joe being deported. However, in classic Andy fashion, he told us we’d get into it all later, aka part three of the reunion.

What we didn’t have to wait for was Teresa going after Jackie. Teresa definitely made her point that Jackie wasn’t allowed to come for her because if you’re not with Teresa, (or “on the Teresa show”) then you’re against her. Tre drove this home be saying something about looking around the room, noticing that anyone who ever attacked Teresa was gone and off the show.

Margaret

looked amazing, absolutely amazing! Her face, shoes, dress, earrings, EVERYTHING was “on point.” Plus when going up against Jennifer (again), Margaret handed herself well. Girl earned her seat next to Andy.

Melissa

can never do anything right, yet I agree with Jackie that Melissa has become the number one girl in this group (referring to when Jackie called her the Carrie). I think some of the other women can’t handle this … or maybe just one woman. I couldn’t believe Teresa said Melissa needed to be on the other couch, in referencing alliances. No longer am I confused about why Melissa is in so much trouble with Teresa at the reunion. Melissa didn’t agree with Tre on certain issues this season and in the end, it’s looking as if Melissa sided with those “against Teresa.”

Also, did Melissa call Teresa irrational??

Jennifer

After hating Jennifer in the beginning of the season, to growing to like her by the finale, she was able to make me go back to hating her in just the first ten minutes of the reunion. She sounded so dumb talking about Oklahoma. Just because you’re a city person doesn’t mean you can hate hate hate on how or where others live. We already went through this already with Vicki Gunvalson.

Speaking of hate, or maybe more of a dislike, I was shocked that Margaret v. Jennifer would be brought up so soon. After reaching what I thought was a reasonable bit of closure to their disagreements during the season, at the reunion Jennifer went and called Marge Senior a “homewrecker.” Damn girl, say whatever you want about Margaret, but it’s an extremely low blow when you go insulting someone’s mother. Perhaps it even shows the kind of person you are …

Jackie

“Took on Teresa and lived to tell about it.”

I will admit that after the picture of Jackie at Teresa’s book signing came out, it was hard for me to look at her the same way I had since the start of the season. I really liked Jackie from day one, but that picture made my thoughts shift to her having a possible agenda being on the show, a “I want to be famous” agenda. But stalker (??) I’m not so sure. Then again, maybe Jackie wants to be forever known as the one who took Teresa down … ???

Dolores

I COMPLETELY forgot that Andy was the one to spill the beans to Dolores about Frank being disbarred. However, I ship Frelores hardcore. Based off what she said on the reunion though, she seems pretty serious about her boyfriend, David. Buuuut, I predict that on the next season Frank will be around just as often as he’s always been.

Wednesday Night: Dallas Part 1

That was D’Andra’s big secret … ?? Heresay?? So DUMB!
I’m so happy to see Cary stick up for Kameron and LeeAnne … honestly I really enjoyed Cary this season (even if it did seem like she played both sides).
I. Relate. To. Stephanie. So. Much!! and because of that I just love love love love her.
“I don’t need to know who looks at your pussy” BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
I so so so so agree with Stephanie that the feud with Brandi and LeeAnne is tit for tat and deep rooted in last season.
Andy is so much like a therapist, well, at times …

RHOC Reunion Part 1: “Low Blow Gunvalson”

“Lies A. Minnelli!!”

Best quote of the night! Or it possibly could have been Kelly calling Vicki a fart (“silent but deadly”)! Overall, part one of the OC Reunion was basically just a Kelly vs. Vicki match, which was super surprising to me because I thought they were all good. Guess not.

Researching their feud a little more after watching last night, Kelly said that she thought the two of them left the reunion on good terms, but watching the promo brought back the emotions for Kelly in regards to Vicki’s hurtful words and accusations. Honestly, I had no idea how serious it was between the two of them, so much so, that Kelly said she wouldn’t return next season unless Vicki was off the show.

At first, I thought their fight was over Vicki setting Michael up on a date and not telling Kelly, only to then double date with Michael and his female friend (who it turned out was a mutual friend of both Vicki and Kelly!!). Strike one Vicki. Not only did Vicki strike out there during the season, but within the first 10 minutes of last night’s reunion, Vicki had strike two in which she showed her hypocritical side (a very big side of her) when she said she didn’t want to be a “party girl” anymore, or one who went to out bars all the time, yet got wasted in Mexico at Andales this season (and also partied it up intensely again in Jamaica).

Eek!

Strike two ya hypocrite. But honestly, the straw that broke the camel’s back for how absurd Vicki is came when she spouted off that Kelly not only does cocaine, but she’s never with her daughter, only to then backpedal and say that their visitation arrangement is between “you and Michael.”

What was most shocking to me as I watched (and not just because I’m team Kelly) was how nonchalant Vicki was in saying everything. She kept such a straight face and seemed to just blame it on the fact that Kelly called her fat or compared her to a fart. Even Tamra and Shannon couldn’t seem to get through to Vicki that the accusations she was making were intense. But …

She accused David of beating Shannon, Eddie of being gay, and then there was the Brooks of it all. She ruins relationships and hurts families through her words (& lies) and here she is now doing it to Kelly. Strike three Vic. I really hope she’s not saying these awful things just to secure her spot on the show, but I could totes see that happening now that OGs can be cut (ahem LVP). Ahh, suppose we’ll see how this ends in the next two weeks (it’s a three parter right?) with the continuation of the reunion. But for now … whose side are you on?

RHONY: Part 1 Reunion

“A Gift of a Season …”

Andy said it best; season 10 of the Real Housewives of New York was the gift I never knew I needed. I mean, the couch swap before the reunion even started just shows that this group is nothing but iconic!

Let’s get into it!

On the “Small Talk”

On the Fashion

I can not believe Dorinda’s bubble dress is from this season; does that not feel like forever ago to everyone? Doesn’t it seem like so much has happened since then? Ha! Remember her slurring about Saturday Night Live and how she couldn’t pronounce SNL by the third time she told the story? Too too too good!

On Everyone Coming for Bethenny

Opportunistic for going to Bobby’s funeral, a liar, has never said a nice word about anyone, doesn’t support other women, bashed people in interviews, killed kittens … oh, wait I don’t think Bethenny was accused of that last one. But seriously, did all the women get together and plot to come for Bethenny? We all know she’s great friends with Andy and that she’s the staple of the New York housewives but how petty can it get?

First, I guarantee Jill probably wanted the cameras at Bobby’s funeral to not only honor the great man he was, but maybe help propel her back on the show. Second, Ramona has been absolutely terrible to Bethenny, so what does Ramona expect in return? If Luann would have been there, she would have defended Bethenny, which means of course the girls used her absence as ammunition; B was down an ally. If “messy’ is the word from the Potomac reunion, then JEALOUS is the word from New York’s; they’re all jealous of Bethenny’s fame, money, and quick wit!

On Dorinda’s Drinking

Anyone else feel incredible uncomfortable watching Dorinda laugh after Bravo showed the montage of her many slurred speeches this season? It was also awkward to watch the shade Bravo threw at her about being there to support Lu (the lighting of the candles at the church) to Dorinda’s awful behavior in Colombia (“at least I didn’t get a mugshot”). So much back and forth between those two. I agree with Andy that Dorinda’s drinking has made for funny memes and iconic moments, but it also may be something she needs to focus more attention on, rather than laugh off.

I could not ask for anything more from season 10 of New York. I’ve always said Vanderpump is the best show on Bravo, but RHONY may have taken that spot. With Lu in rehab, Carole gone, Dorinda’s drinking, and everyone against Bethenny, I can only image what next season will bring. But before we get to it, we have more reunion to look forward to!

Sunday’s Potomac Reunion

There is a clear divide between the Potomac women; the seating chart obviously said so. The word of the reunion seemed to be “messy” and those three to Andy’s left were so so messy this season, especially Ashley. I don’t think I realized how much so until I watched some of it back and then through the discussion of it all. However, I definitely feel they are in tune with what is necessary, meaning they know how to stir the pot, throw shade, and make a show entertaining (Ashley, Robin, Gizelle) !! Speaking of shade, is Andy getting tired of hosting reunions? I say this because it seemed like his patience was extremely short and he couldn’t help telling the ladies when they were

Monday’s OC Poker Game

I feel like I should have committed an entire post to this week’s RHOC because I have many thoughts. First, I am so here for the single Kelly and single Shannon friendship. I’m really glad Shannon was honest with Tamra about how she felt she bonded with Kelly. While I get why Tamra would be jealous, I think Kelly and Shannon understand what each other is going through and can really help one another through their divorces. Second, Emily is such a snooze fest, like why is she even a housewife? Third, at the beginning of the episode, was Gina at a flea market? Is she poor? Why is she even a housewife? Especially since all the other women have had “so many procedures!” Jaw DROPPED when she said that. Finally, everything I just wrote is really hard to watch and even harder to discuss when Eddie is going through some serious shit. I don’t keep up with Tamra on social media, so can someone research for me and see if Eddie’s on the road to a final recovery?

Dallas Taglines

I know that season 3 of the Dallas ladies premiered this week, and it’s saved on my DRV, and I promise to blog my thoughts once the season gets going (in fact, I’m kind of liking this “Real Recap” format). For now though, I’m too invested in RHONY on Wednesdays, and really can take only so many seasons at once. I will say though, I’m pleased there are no new ladies in Dallas, and with that let’s dive into my favorite taglines. Kameron’s is my favorite with “I’ve got heels that are higher than your standards.” Honestly girl, I feel the same way about some people. I always like a good Texas reference, such as Brandi’s “This isn’t my first rodeo, so I’m not taking your bull, ” and LeeAnne’s “You don’t mess with Texas, and you don’t mess with me.” I wish those two would be friends this season; here’s to hoping! D’Andra’s is fine because I get it has to do with her mom and their business (“Running a family business is a job for one tough mother.”), Stephanie’s is fine too, playing up the fact that while she may spend money, she’s not here for drama (“Investing in drama is not in my budget.”), but Cary’s is the worst and it’s probably because she herself, is the worst (“When life gets messy, just build a bigger closet.”). I love the Dallas ladies and am stoked to watch this season!

The Housewife Queens: Wednesday’s RHONY Finale

Following the most intense season of New York housewives ever will soon come the most intense reunion (or so I hear). What I didn’t hear was that a trailer of the reunion was officially released!! (See below).

As far as this week’s episode, I LOVED how it was centered around Luann’s cabaret: the women getting ready for the night, the show, and then the after party. She did great too! Obviously, it was way wrong for Tinsley to spill the beans to Dorinda regarding “invite-gate” (I still don’t understand why Scott was invited, but John was not) because obviously Dorinda would not let it go and thus would ruin Luann’s night … which she did! I remember seeing the video of Sonja’s dress coming off from that night (classic!) and I was very happy to see Ramona show Lu so much support. In closing though, all of Lu’s success on the finale made me sad knowing she missed the reunion and had to go back to rehab. All I do is wish her well!

On an absent Thomas

First off, I’m SO GLAD Bravo addressed his absence and didn’t pretend this was a fluke thing. Thomas’s lawyer’s statement was total bs though; you know he would have been there in a heartbeat if he could have. Bravo totes made him stay home which was completely the right thing to do!

On Girl Power

SO HERE FOR IT and Craig didn’t need to roll his eyes about it either. Regarding JD and his wife, you can’t compare Naomie and Craig to them … JD and Liz are married (or were?)! But with that being said, SCREW JD! Later good ol’ boys!

Also, if you find anyone on social media who has had a Shepard encounter, you’ll learn quick that he’s disgusting and I highly doubt he “took stock” of his past behavior or “thinks about it more” now.

In all honesty, I think Cameran is going to be an awesome mom! I couldn’t be happier for her. I also loved how Kathryn was commenting and agreeing and bonding with Cam.

On Naomie and Craig’s relationship

What’s sadder: Craig’s bent finger or his pillows? So he’s not getting paid to practice law? Is he spiraling? I need answers! Everyone on the couches just looked like they wanted to tell Craig, “Bless your heart!” Throughout the season, a part of me was a little bit on Craig’s side. However, he reminded me on the reunion how delusional he is!

By the way, Naomie’s boyfriend is SO HOT! How Craig can say she’s not happy is absolutely f’ing crazy! NAOMIE AND METUL WERE IN FRANCE WHEN THE FRENCH WON THE WORLD CUP! She’s clearly living her best life. All of Craig’s answers (“I actually despise her and hate her”) and facial expressions on the reunion clearly showed how peanut butter and jelly he is!

By the way, Naomie girl, your nose looks great ! ! ! !

On Queen Kathryn

I am LIVING for her transformation! I don’t even have words to describe how high she’s risen and how amazing she is, especially alongside the fall and embarrassment of Thomas. (Karma anyone?) I would be so so so so so so so shocked to find someone in Charleston or on social media who isn’t #TeamKathryn!

On Cameran’s empathy towards Kathryn
